TRAVATAN Z® Solution
How to apply your TRAVATAN Z® Solution eye drops
The recommended dose for TRAVATAN Z® Solution is one drop in the affected eye(s) once per day in the evening. Follow these steps for using TRAVATAN Z® Solution:
- If you use more than one eye drop medicine, wait 5 minutes before applying the next medicine.
- Wash hands before each use.
- If you wear contacts, remove them before applying TRAVATAN Z® Solution.
- Remove the cap from the bottle carefully so that the dispenser tip does not touch anything. Place the cap in a clean, dry area.
- Tilt your head back. Gently pull down the lower lid until a small pocket is made.
- Gently squeeze the bottle, dispense one drop into the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening.
- If your eye doctor has advised you to use punctal occlusion, close the medicated eye(s) and press gently on the puncta to prevent the TRAVATAN Z® Solution from being washed out of the eye. (Puncta are the small tear drainage holes located on the lid margin closest to your nose.) Wait one minute and release.
- To prevent potential contamination of the product that could lead to eye infections, do not let the dropper tip touch your eye or anything else.
- Replace the cap. Store between 36° to 77°F (2° to 25°C).
- The dispenser tip is designed to provide a precisely measured drop; therefore, DO NOT enlarge the hole of the dispenser.
- Contact lens wearers should wait 15 minutes after applying drops before inserting lenses.
